Henderson Police are hosting a recruitment night Thursday for candidates interesting in applying for a police or corrections officer position.
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Henderson Police Department North Station, located at 225 E. Sunset Road.
The police department will explain how to prepare for the hiring process and give prospective candidates the chance to ask questions of the human resources and backgrounds departments, and current officers.
Applications will be accepted online until 5:30 p.m. on July 10, 2015.
