Police: Man stabbed to death during altercation

A man was killed Tuesday after a verbal altercation escalated into a stabbing, according to Metro Police.

Officers were sent about 9:30 p.m. to the 5900 block of Bromley Avenue, near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95, after police received a call about an injured man inside a condominium, officials said.

The man had suffered apparent stab wounds and was unresponsive, police said.

An investigation by Metro’s homicide section determined the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with another man that became violent, police said.

The other man left the scene, and no arrest has been made, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro at 702-828-3521 or to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
