One man is in critical condition after a motorcycle collision Saturday evening, Metro Police said.
Police were called to the accident on North Sky Point Drive south of West Azure Drive last night at 10:30 p.m. A man, 19, was riding a 2007 Yamaha R6 motorcycle north on Sky Point Drive and was approaching a curve in the roadway. The rider applied the brakes while approaching but failed to make the curve in the roadway. The Yamaha fell to the roadway and the rider was ejected, police said.
The motorcycle and the man slid to a stop on the west side of the roadway after hitting a road barrier.
The man was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries. The collision remains under investigation.
