Biaggio Ali-Walsh rushed eight times for 200 yards and three touchdowns today for the Bishop Gorman High football team in a 63-7 victory against visiting Cimarron-Memorial in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals.

It was the 29th straight playoff victory for the six-time defending state champions.

“I haven’t thought about that. That’s pretty cool,” Gorman coach Kenny Sanchez said of the playoff winning streak.

Jimmy Telles had an interception return for a touchdown for Gorman, Tate Martell passed for three touchdowns and rushed for another, and Tyjon Lindsey and Brandon Gahagan had receiving touchdowns.

Cimarron-Memorial scored in the fourth quarter on a kickoff return.

Gorman advances to play Centennial next week in the Sunset Regional semifinals.

“They play us tough every year,” Sanchez said of Centennial. “We have to get ready for those guys. It’s never a blowout.”
