Alec Netski had two interceptions Friday for the Faith Lutheran football team in a 39-19 victory against Clark.

Netski returned one of the interceptions 21 yards for a touchdown, helping the two-time Sunset League champion Crusaders (2-1) win their league opener.

Brenden Joyce passed for 256 yards and two touchdowns to Christian Marshall for Faith Lutheran, who scored on their initial possession and never trailed.

“We jumped on them early,” Faith Lutheran coach Vernon Fox said.

Marshall found the end zone on a pair of screen passes from Joyce, scoring on plays of 56 and 78 yards. Joyce also scored a touchdown run.

“The thing that has been good for us is we have been able to play at good tempo on offense,” Fox said. “Our guys are getting comfortable with it and it’s been hard for other teams to keep up with it.”
