A dog was rescued from a garage fire early Saturday in Spring Valley, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Also according to the Fire Department:
Crews responded about 3:51 a.m. to a residence at 7448 Palermo Ave., near West Tropicana Avenue and Tenaya Way.
The blaze started in the garage of the single-story residence and spread into the attic.
Five adults, one child and a cat escaped safely. No injuries were reported; crews rescued a dog.
The cause is under investigation. Fire investigators will determine a damage estimate.
