A woman was killed Sunday when gunfire erupted during a fight between two groups of people at an apartment complex near Charleston Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive, according to Metro Police.
The shooting happened about 9 p.m. in the 6000 block of West Charleston Boulevard.
Officers found the victim outside an apartment building, where she was pronounced dead, police said. Her name will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Two groups of people were involved in a fight when at least two people opened fire with handguns, police said. Police said they think the woman was associated with one of the groups involved in the fight.
No suspects have been identified, police said.
