Police seek suspect in Las Vegas Strip robbery

Metro Police identified this man as a suspect in the robbery of a department store Aug. 3, 2016, in the 3300 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South.

Metro Police say they are looking for a man who robbed a department store on the Las Vegas Strip in early August.

On Aug. 3, the suspect entered the store in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard and threatened to shoot an employee if he wasn’t given money, police said.

He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store in a taxi, police said. Nobody was injured.

The incident was caught on video surveillance, police said.

The suspect is in his 40s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 180 pounds, police said. He was wearing a white T-shirt, gray shorts and black shoes.
