Metro Police are looking for a man suspected in the death of a woman whose body was found early this morning in a central valley house, according to a news release.

Also according to police:

The suspect, Jaime Santana, 25, was thought to be driving the woman's 2015 blue two-door Toyota Scion, Nevada license plate 37A563.

Officers were called at 12:25 a.m. to the 300 block of Lilac Lane, near Rancho Drive and Bonanza Road. The deceased woman was involved in a struggle and suffered multiple injuries; it is unclear why she was in the house.

Santana is described as a Hispanic man who stands about 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighs about 150 pounds.

Friends this afternoon were posting rest-in-peace messages on the Facebook profile of Cinthia Wendy Perez. They had earlier taken to the social media platform asking for help in finding Perez. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will officially identify her and determine her cause of death.

Slightly more than 12 hours after Perez's body was discovered, Lizeth Cuevas, 25, showed up to the cul-de-sac looking for her friend, whom she said had been missing since Thursday evening.

Knocks to the door were not answered this afternoon. About the same time, Metro squad cars sped through the area with their sirens turned on, someone who’d been inside the house drove away and Cuevas rushed out of the scene after a phone call.
