A Metro Police officer accused of possessing and distributing child pornography was arrested Friday after a search warrant was served at his home, according to officials.
Ruben Delgadillo, 24, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count each of possession of pornography involving a child under the age of 16 and distribution of the material, jail logs show. He remained jailed Saturday morning with bail set at $25,000.
Delgadillo, who was hired in July 2015, was assigned to the community policing division in Metro's northwest valley substation, police said. He has been suspended without pay while the case is investigated.
