A teen was hospitalized Sunday with nonlife-threatening injuries after a shooting in the northwest valley, according to Metro Police.
The shooting was reported about 1:30 p.m. in the 7600 block of Tender Tassels Street, in the area of U.S. 95 and Durango Drive, Officer Larry Hadfield said. The 17-year-old victim, who was shot in the lower body, was taken to University Medical Center, he said.
No arrests have been made, and the incident is under investigation, Hadfield said.
