Donald Trump is not going to Nevada this week, even though Republicans are holding their caucuses there Tuesday. While there’s a dearth of reliable polling, Trump does not seem worried about his prospects in the state.

At an event in South Carolina on Wednesday morning, Trump boasted about available polls showing him with a wide lead in Nevada, where he owns property, including a hotel and casino.

“Maybe I don’t even have to go there and campaign,” Trump said.

Boasting about having to spend minimal time in a state is unusual for a candidate. And it’s a stark contrast to the Democratic candidates, who face off in caucuses in Nevada on Saturday. Hillary Clinton, trying to fend off a strong challenge from Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont in a state she won in 2008, arrives there Wednesday night.

As of now, Trump has only one event scheduled in Nevada, in Sparks, at noon Tuesday, the day of the caucuses.
