A woman is in critical condition and a woman accused of stabbing her was arrested this afternoon near Fremont Street and Eastern Avenue, according to Metro Police.
Emergency crews about 3:15 p.m. were dispatched to 2208 Sunrise Ave., Metro Lt. Kendall Bell said.
Also according to Bell:
The incident occurred inside a man's apartment and the argument between two women escalated into a stabbing.
Officers were nearby and arrested the alleged attacker. The victim was taken to University Medical Center with at least one wound believed to be life-threatening.
