Coroner IDs men killed in shooting at apartment complex

Two men shot to death Tuesday at a northwest valley apartment complex have been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Charles Edward Warren, 28, of Las Vegas and Deante Dixon, 24, whose city of residence was not known.

They died of multiple gunshot wounds, the Coroner’s Office reported.

Officers responded about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday to the complex in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive, near West Smoke Ranch, Metro Police said.

Upon arrival, officers found one of the men inside a vehicle and the other on the ground near the same vehicle, police said. Both were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.

They were taken to University Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead, police said.

At least two people fled the scene before officers arrived, police said. No arrests have been made.
