Metro Police are trying to identify an armed suspect they say robbed a convenience store on Jones Boulevard near Smoke Ranch Road on Monday night.
The man entered the store, 2339 N. Jones, about 9:45 p.m. and pretended to be a customer, asking questions about merchandise, police said.
But then he pulled out a gun, jumped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash before running away, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man with a thin build who stands 5 feet, 9 inches, to 6-feet tall, police said. He wore a black shirt, black pants, a camouflage fisherman-style hat and sunglasses.
