Metro Police say they are investigating a possible homicide after a man was found with a gunshot wound inside an apartment.
According to police, the victim, who appeared to be in his 40s, was taken to a hospital early today and later died.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
Police say four to five residents heard gunshots but did not report the shooting.
Investigators will return to the scene later today to question some more residents in the area.
