A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle this evening near Russell Road and Nellis Boulevard, according to Metro Police.
Lt. Patricia Cervantes said first responders were dispatched about 5:50 p.m. to the 5000 block of Russell.
The pedestrian died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Cervantes said. Traffic in the area was being diverted.
