Police arrested a man and a boy suspected of firing a pellet gun into passing cars on East Sunset Road and into a Sunset Park children's playground this morning, according to Clark County officials.

The incident was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of South Eastern Avenue, police said. No one was injured.

The suspects, 18-year-old Keonte Carter and a boy whose name wasn't provided because of his age, were arrested by park police based on the description provided by park employees who witnessed the incident, officials said.

They were booked on one count of discharging a firearm where a person might be endangered, officials said. Carter was booked on an additional count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Keonte remained at the Clark County Detention Center this afternoon on a $3,000 bail and the boy was booked into the county juvenile jail, officials said.
