Police seek suspects in violent convenience store robbery

Metro Police say they are searching for four suspects after an east valley convenience store clerk was pistol-whipped and beaten unconscious during a robbery late Sunday.

Cameras clearly captured the violent act.

Video shows a man rush the clerk and beat him to the floor. Three other men then came in and robbed the store as the clerk was unconscious on the floor, police said.

Among items stolen were merchandise, cash and the clerk’s wallet and cell phone, police said.

Officers were dispatched about 11:40 p.m. to the store in the 1900 block of Nellis Boulevard, near Lake Mead Boulevard, police said. A customer noticed the injured clerk and called 911, police said.

The suspect in the attack on the clerk appeared about 25 years old, 6 feet tall and 220 pounds, police said. He was wearing green pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with “Rebels Athletics” written on the front and “Babyface 32” on the back, and an undershirt with “BEENTRILL#” written on it, police said.

The second suspect is about 25 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 170 pounds, police said. He wore dark pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt with “SLW” lettering on the left shoulder.

The third suspect is about 25 years, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, police said. He wore dark pants and a white long-sleeved shirt.

The fourth suspect is about 25 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, police said. He wore dark pants and a gray and black hooded sweatshirt with a camouflage pattern.
