A suspect in the slaying of a man who was shot and then dragged out of a central valley apartment in November has been arrested, according to Metro Police.
Denfield Wright, 37, was taken into custody Wednesday and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a count of murder, police said today.
Officers were dispatched about 1 p.m. on Nov. 25 to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Sunrise Avenue, near Eastern Avenue and Fremont Street, police said.
They found Nelson Navarijo’s body outside an apartment, police said. They 22-year-old had been shot multiple times.
Porchay Banks, 24, who investigators allege dragged the fatally wounded Magana outside the apartment, was arrested shortly thereafter, police said. She was booked on a count of accessory to murder, police said.
Information about the motive for the shooting hasn’t been disclosed.
