A 51-year-old woman was hit and killed Wednesday morning by a camping trailer driven by her boyfriend near Alta and Torrey Pines drives, according to Metro Police.
Officers and medical crews responded to the incident about 6:40 a.m. in the 6500 block of Bourbon Way, police said. The Las Vegas woman died at University Medical Center.
An investigation determined that a 1998 Dodge Intrepid pulling a trailer was west on Bourbon when the woman ran into the road and was struck by the right front of the trailer, police said. The 39-year-old driver was cooperating with police.
