A person suffered serious injuries this afternoon in a fight at a parking lot near Flamingo Road and Jones Boulevard, according to Metro Police.
Homicide investigators were dispatched to the scene, but details on the extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately available, Lt. W. Graham said this evening.
Officers and medical crews were called about 3:15 p.m. to the parking lot of the Rapid Cash, 6115 Flamingo, Graham said. The injured person was taken to University Medical Center.
Information on other people connected to the fight, what led to it, the type of injuries the victim suffered or that person’s age or gender wasn’t immediately known.
