A man crossing a street near downtown Las Vegas was hit by a pickup truck and critically injured Sunday night, and the driver was arrested on a count of DUI, according to Metro Police.
Mario Quintanilla, 62, was hit about 9:30 p.m. while walking across Palm Avenue at Wyoming Avenue, police said. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.
Police identified the driver as Ramon Bernal, 33, of Las Vegas.
