Homicide detectives are investigating this afternoon after a person found gravely wounded in the middle of a west valley road died, according to Metro Police.
Officers responded to the shooting about noon in the 6900 block of Stober Court, near Rainbow Boulevard and Twain Avenue, Lt. Carlos Hank said.
The person underwent surgery at University Medical Center, but died, Hank said.
Further details were not immediately available.
