A security guard at a Las Vegas Strip hotel has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault at the property on Monday, according to Metro Police.

Robert Laws, 39, was taken into custody Wednesday — the same day the incident was reported — at the property in the 3700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, near Harmon Avenue, police said.

Laws was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping, jail logs show. A bail hearing was scheduled for Friday.

Further details, including the property where the attack was reported, were not immediately available.
