Two armed men suspected in a robbery and stabbing of a restaurant employee Thursday night in North Las Vegas are being sought by authorities, according to city police.

The employee, who was stabbed once, was expected to recover, police said Friday. A surveillance photo shows one of the men holding him at gunpoint in a private room in the restaurant.

Police and medics responded about 8:30 p.m. to the business in the 4500 block of West Ann Road, east of Decatur Boulevard, and took the injured 18-year-old victim to University Medical Center.

With the help of surveillance images, investigators determined that two men—one armed with a knife and the other with a gun—entered the restaurant and demanded money before stabbing the employee, police said. They fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspects were described by police as being black.

One of them—a medium-built man—is in his late 30s, and he stands about 5 feet, 11 inches, police said. He wore a brown zippered hooded sweatshirt, a blue shirt, brown pants and gray shoes.

The other—a thin man—is in his early 40s, and he stands about 5 feet, 8 inches, police said. He wore a dark gray baseball cap, a dark blue shirt, light gray sweatpants and blue shoes.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 702-633-9111. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or crimestoppersofnv.com
