A 40-year-old California woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in the east valley Friday night, according to Metro Police.
The woman was crossing outside a designated area on Nellis Boulevard, near Stewart Avenue, when the crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m., police said.
She was rushed to University Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
The driver of the 2008 Mitsubishi Galant and his passenger were not injured and cooperated with investigators, police said.
