Authorities say a suspected impaired driver is facing charges after a fatal car crash east of downtown Las Vegas.
Metro Police say 36-year-old William Jones of Las Vegas was arrested after Saturday afternoon's accident.
They say Jones remains in the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of DUI resulting in death and he also faces three weapons charges related to the crash.
It wasn't immediately clear Sunday if Jones has a lawyer yet.
Police say a 58-year-old Las Vegas man was taken to a hospital after the crash and died of his injuries.
The county coroner's office will release the victim's name after his family is notified.
