Valley blanks Rancho for first win of the season

Jay Fuiava had a fumble return for a touchdown today in the first quarter for the Valley High football team in a 53-0 victory against Rancho. It was the Vikings' (1-3) first win.

“The defense was lights out. They put us in a great position,” Valley coach Quincy Burts said.

Quarterback Jarrett Zibert had touchdown passes to Randell Mosley and Larry Perry, and Zibert also rushed for a score.

Bryce Jones “got going this week,” Burts said of his top player. Jones had a punt return for a touchdown and a rushing score.
