CARSON CITY — A 33-year-old Carson City man has been arrested on charges accusing him of attacking another man with a Japanese-style sword.
The Nevada Appeal reports Joel Urquiza attacked the man Monday at a residence on North Carson Street, causing severe damage to his hand.
He was booked on suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon and mayhem, possession of a deadly weapon and drawing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner.
He was being held in the Carson City Jail on $63,000 bail. It's not clear if has a lawyer or will be appointed one at a pending court appearance.
