Man, 75, hit by car, critically injured on Boulder Highway

An 75-year-old pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday when he was hit by a car on an east valley roadway, according to Metro Police.

The Las Vegas man was crossing outside a designated area when he was hit by a car about 5:45 p.m. on Boulder Highway, near Ideal Drive, police said. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The motorist, a 65-year-old man, cooperated with the investigation and was not impaired, police said.
