Officers responding to reports of gunshots in a Henderson neighborhood Thursday night found a critically wounded person, according to city police.
The shooting was reported in the 800 block of North Major Avenue, near Palo Verde Drive, south of Warm Springs Road, Henderson Police Officer Rodrigo Peña said.
The victim was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with a life-threatening gunshot wound, he said.
No arrests had been made late Thursday and a possible motive or suspect description wasn’t available, Peña said.
The investigation was ongoing, he added.
