Nevada's secretary of state says there has been a slight bump in the number of registered voters.

Barbara Cegavske's office announced that 8,683 more voters registered in June. The total number of registered voters in the state is about 1.6 million.

Democrats registered slightly more voters last month than Republicans. They represent about 38% of the state's registered voters.

Republicans comprise 34% and nonpartisans make up 22%.
