A 67-year-old Las Vegas tour bus driver has pleaded not guilty to a reduced vehicular manslaughter charge in a crash that killed a casino worker in a driveway between Las Vegas Strip resorts.
Records show that a judge on Monday set an Aug. 26 bench trial for Gregory Eugene Patterson in the Feb. 14 death of 59-year-old Pamela Kay Lewis of Las Vegas.
Patterson's attorney, Jennifer Lee Ferris, did not immediately respond to messages.
Prosecutors reduced a felony driving under the influence charge to the misdemeanor after receiving Patterson's blood test results.
Police reported that Patterson failed impairment tests and officers suspected he was under the influence of several prescription medications when the bus hit Lewis near an employee entrance at The Venetian.
