A sex worker is accused of stealing $90,000 from her client after he fell asleep in his Las Vegas hotel room last month, according to Metro Police.

Talisha Ferguson, 22, is facing a felony count of grand larceny of more than $25,000, jail logs show. She was arrested on Monday.

The out-of-state victim said he contacted Ferguson through an online escort service advertisement, according to an arrest report.

After he picked her up from downtown Las Vegas, they began talking and he told her he had $90,000 in cash, police said.

He took her back to his room, where she asked if she could see the cash — which was in a brown paper bag — because she had never seen so much money, he told police.

The victim then paid Ferguson to have sex, police said. While she complained of a stomach ailment, the man fell asleep.

When he woke up early on July 4, the woman and the money were gone, police said.

Detectives tracked Ferguson using her cell phone information and casino surveillance cameras in the property. Footage showed her being picked up at the property.

An undercover detective contacted Ferguson for a date, and arrested her after he picked her up, police said.

She admitted hanging around the victim the night of the theft but said she didn’t take his money, according to her arrest report.

It wasn’t clear if detectives were able to track down the money.

Ferguson, who is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond, will next appear in court Thursday morning.
