Tennile Pereira, director of the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center, speaks on the evolution of the organization and how it continues to help the community heal, Mon. Sept. 16, 2019.

The Vegas Strong Resiliency Center, which provides free resources to those impacted by the Oct. 1, 2017, Strip mass shooting, is moving to a new location.

The new 4,700-square-foot center at 2915 West Charleston Blvd. will include a therapy room, staff offices, a guest lobby, reception room, three conference rooms and two private family rooms.

In addition to providing mental health services, the center is a central location for legal and financial assistance for victims.

The current location at 1524 Pinto Lane will close at 3 p.m. Friday, and the new office will open at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

“In 2020, we plan to offer more ways for survivors, victims’ families and community members to meaningfully connect with the Resiliency Center to help in their healing journey,” Director Tennille Pereira said. “We are thankful to all of the volunteers who donated their pro bono services to make the Resiliency Center warm and inviting.”
