Fans cheer a goal by Vegas Golden Knights left wing Max Pacioretty during the first period of an NHL hockey game against the Edmonton Oilers at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020.

The Golden Knights sent an email to season ticket holders this morning informing them that this month’s payment will be delayed amid the coronavirus crisis.

Season ticket installment payments — six in total — started in January and are billed on the 20th of each month. This month’s payment has been pushed back to July, and billing will resume next month.

Season ticket holders have the option of staying on the scheduled payment schedule by contacting their ticket agent.

One season ticket holder said his job was not impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, but his girlfriend works at Wynn Las Vegas, which temporarily closed this week. He was worried about making the payment in what is, for the time being, a single-income household.

The NHL has suspended all games.

The Golden Knights have said the team is working with the league on a plan for what to do about tickets for postponed games. The team are asking fans to hold onto their tickets for now.
