Night of Hope benefit to raise funds for Las Vegans in need

Entertainers including Marie Osmond, Lil Jon, Carrot Top, OneRepublic, Kane Brown and Lee Brice are set to perform or appear during “A Night of Hope,” a one-hour benefit broadcast special set for Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m. on local network affiliates KSNV (NBC), KVVU (Fox), KTNV (ABC) and KLAS (CBS) as well as 102.7 KCYE-FM Coyote Country radio and streaming online at hopeforthecity.tv.

The fundraiser is organized by local nonprofit organization Hope For The City, a group committed to providing care, relief and meeting the critical food needs of people living in Southen Nevada. Hope’s partnerships with faith-based organizations, businesses and nonprofits include Central Church, Three Square Food Bank, Share Village Las Vegas, the Henderson and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Departments, Sysco Foods, Ahern Equipment Rentals and more.

The event announcement states the group has supplied more than three million pounds of food to families, medical personnel, first responders and seniors throughout the COVID-19 crisis and created more than 115 government-approved pop-up food banks.

“A Night of Hope” will be co-hosted by “The Bachelor” personality Chris Harrison and Emmy Award-winning TV personality Giuliana Rancic. Other celebrities and personalities scheduled to appear include Jon Gruden, members of the Vegas Golden Knights, Tedy Bruschi, Spencer Tillman, Jason Giambi, Brian “Head” Welch, Montell Jordan and more.
