Henderson triple shooting ruled murder-suicide

A triple shooting that left two people dead in Henderson earlier this month has been ruled a murder-suicide, police said.

A man shot and killed his ex-wife and then fired multiple rounds inside an apartment, wounding the victim’s brother, who was expected to recover, Henderson Police said.

The gunman, identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Tony Carr, 42, then turned the weapon on himself, police said.

The coroner identified his ex-wife as 34-year-old Brittany Smith.

The shooting was reported about 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 8 at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Warm Springs Road, near Green Valley Parkway, police said.
