The second semifinal results episode of season 15 of “America’s Got Talent” aired on NBC last night and neither the judges nor the voting public were kind to the remaining Las Vegas contestants. Singers Kenadi Dodds, Cristina Rae and Daneliya Tuleshova as well as acrobats the Bello Sisters and dancers Bad Salsa advanced to the two-night finale set for September 22 and 23. Three Vegas-based acts, mentalist Max Major, daredevil Jonathan Goodwin and sword swallower Brett Loudermilk were all eliminated, but last night’s episode did have an extra dose of Vegas thanks to a performance from mind-reading sensation Colin Cloud who has competed on “AGT” and “Britain’s Got Talent” and was performing with Shin Lim at the Mirage when the pandemic shut down entertainment on the Strip. Only one Vegas performer has advanced to this season’s finals, aerialist Alan Silva of Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity” at New York-New York, who made the cut during last week’s results show thanks to an online audience vote.

The creator, producer, choreographer and star of “Sexxy” at Westgate Las Vegas, Jennifer Romas is continuing a Saturday series of in-studio and live-streaming dance classes this weekend at the Rock Center for Dance. For more info, visit sexxystore.com.

Speaking of Westgate entertainment, there’s some new music reactivating this weekend at the I Bar. A duo called NPerson will perform starting at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, a new act made up of Sean Stewart and Brandon Godfrey from the off-Strip resort’s “Soul of Motown” show.

The Vegas Room is getting jazzy this month. Los Angeles native and Tuscany Piazza Lounge mainstay Rita Lim performs an autobiographical show there this weekend, Thursday through Saturday, and the brilliant Michelle Johnson makes her debut at the Commercial Center supper club and listening room September 24-26.
