A third Las Vegas Valley restaurant is planned for Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina, according to the eatery’s owner.

Already with locations in downtown Henderson and on the valley’s west side near Tropicana Avenue and Fort Apache Road, a third restaurant is under construction at 2660 W. Centennial Parkway, said owner Juan Vazquez.

If all goes according to plan, the new location is expected to open early next year, Vazquez said.

Between now and then, Vazquez said Juan’s will have to find an adequate number of employees, which has been challenging lately for its first two restaurants.

Vazquez said the Tropicana and Henderson restaurants recently had to close Mondays and Tuesdays to give employees time to rest.

A general shortage of labor has affected many businesses around the valley this year.

“Our kitchen staff was overworked,” Vazquez said. “We’re hiring for all back-of-house positions now for our two locations, but it’s been difficult with the labor shortage.”

The Juan’s restaurant in Henderson opened in 2019. The original location opened in 2013.
