An fight Sunday near downtown Las Vegas left a man dead from a stab wound, according to Metro Police.
The victim ran a short distance and collapsed in Charleston Boulevard near Maryland Parkway, where a motorist found him about 5:30 p.m., Lt. Ray Spencer said.
The stabbing occurred on 11th Street, just north of Charleston, Spencer said.
The victim, who has not been identified, died at University Medical Center, Spencer said.
Detectives were working to identify a suspect in the stabbing, as well as other men involved in the fight, Spencer said.
Police did not disclose a possible motive.
