A man was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday after being shot sitting in his vehicle in North Las Vegas, police said.
North Las Vegas Police public information officer Alexander Cuevas said a preliminary investigation revealed the shooting happened at approximately 4:50 a.m. near Salt Lake Drive and Ferguson Avenue. The victim, 31, was shot “several times” and called 911 for himself, Cuevas said.
The victim was transported by medics to University Medical Center, Cuevas said. A description of the suspect was not given.
