A guest at a Strip resort turned a $2 bet into just over $1 million last week, according to a news release.
The anonymous gambler, who was visiting the Venetian, made the bet on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine Friday evening.
The progressive jackpot win came shortly after another casino visitor won a similar sum a day earlier in downtown Las Vegas.
On Thursday, the Golden Nugget posted on its Twitter account that a gambler had won nearly $1.2 million, which also came on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine.
