Matt Goss will perform in this weekend’s “Rising From the Ashes” gala to benefit the B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation.

A brand-new, made-in-Vegas cabaret show is set to debut tonight just off the Strip at Town Square, created by cast and crew from the shuttered Cirque du Soleil show “Zumanity.” It’s called “Apéro Show” and it will feature aerialists, contortionists, juggling and other acrobatics at the Baobab Stage at 7 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $50 and available at aperoshow.com. The maximum audience of 40 will be seated in pairs or three- or four-tops at the cozy bohemian theater and café.

It’s being launched by the newly formed Visionary Pack Collective, a production company consisting of former “Zumanity” wardrobe lead and designer Niccole Dunn, her husband Jorge Salomone, who also worked on that long-running Cirque show at the New York-New York casino resort, and dancer, choreographer and circus artist Angelique Janowski, who joined the “Zumanity” cast in 2016. And “Apéro Show” found a natural home at Baobab, operated by former “Zumanity” dancer Wassa Coulibaly.

The cast includes Janowski with an aerial hoops act; Damir Mouzdybaev from the Ringling Brothers circus and “Le Réve”; champion synchronized swimmer Natsumi Miyazaki from “Le Réve”; straps artist Roman Tomanov from “Absinthe,” “KÁ” and “Kurios”; contortion artist Tsatsral “Tsatsa” Erdenebileg from “Zumanity”; and juggler Vladislav “Vladik” Miagkostoupov from “V-The Ultimate Variety Show” and “Zombie Burlesque.” With this talented and experienced cast and crew, “Apéro Show” could be a major new development in Vegas entertainment.

The sixth annual B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation “Rising From the Ashes” gala is set for Saturday at 7 p.m., a virtual dinner party with an all-star entertainment lineup. Terry Fator, Clint Holmes, Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns, Bucky Heard, Matt Goss, the David Perrico Pop Strings Orchestra, Murray Sawchuck, Janien Valentine, the Las Vegas Circus Girls and Jeff Civillico will appear via pre-recorded performance and Jaymes Vaughan will host. The Las Vegas-based nonprofit organization provides assistance and resources to girls and women who have been abused, neglected and exploited and proceeds from the event will benefit victims of sex trafficking. Ticket information is available at sherofoundation.org.

Crooners Inc.,” billed as a special Valentine’s Day Las Vegas lounge show, will be performed at the Mint Tavern just west of the Strip on Sunday at 7 and 9 p.m. The cast includes Dean Perry, Jonny Bird, JC Lopez and Miss Mala and the material ranges from Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones to Michael Bublé and Van Morrison. Tickets are $35 and available at Eventbrite.

Elsewhere this weekend: The Bronx Wanderers and Original Chaos resume their outdoor gigs Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at Carnaval Court at Harrah’s; the great Travis Cloer (“Jersey Boys”) sings Saturday night at the Chianti restaurant on Durango Drive; Elisa Fiorello entertains all weekend long at the Vegas Room; another big name you know from “Jersey Boys,” John Lloyd Young, returns to the Space for his “Vegas Valentine” show tonight at 6 p.m. (and you can watch that at thespacelv.com if you didn’t get a ticket); and Kelly Vohnn and Nicholas Cole play the Italian American Club on Sunday.

Extravaganza” quietly celebrated its 100th show at the Jubilee Theater at Bally’s on February 4, an impressive accomplishment for what is the biggest and most elaborate pandemic-era production show on the Strip. The showgirl-stocked variety spectacular originally opened on March 14, 2020, giving one performance before COVID shut down the Strip. It reopened on November 23 and has managed to continue performances despite the current restrictions and 50-person cap on live audiences. “Extravaganza” hits the stage nightly except Tuesday and Wednesday.

Part-time Zappos Theater resident act Florida Georgia Line is set to broadcast a global livestream performance on February 17 to introduce songs from new album “Life Rolls On,” which was released today. Okay, maybe the country duo’s recent shows at the Planet Hollywood Resort venue were more of a limited engagement, but we expect to see FGL back on the Strip when big shows resume. Hosted by CMT’s Cody Alan, next week’s event kicks off at 6 p.m. Vegas time on the Amazon Music mobile app.

Tierney Allen, aka Lady Gaga from “Legends in Concert” at the Tropicana, is set to sing a collection of her favorite jazz hits at Frankie’s Uptown in Downtown Summerlin on February 19 starting at 8 p.m. Make your reservation asap by calling 702-228-2766.

Mirage resident headlining act Boyz II Men is teaming up with DoorDash and Shake Shack for “the ultimate ’90s throwback romance experience” this Valentine’s Day. The “Love Delivered” experience includes an intimate performance and friendly conversation with the group on Sunday at 5 p.m. streamed through Twitch and DoorDash’s Facebook Live channel, limited-edition menu items from Shake Shack and special free kits to be delivered with Shake Shack orders placed via DoorDash in New York City and Philadelphia.
