Two people were slain in a shooting at an apartment complex Friday evening just east from the Las Vegas Strip, according to Metro Police.
Multiple people called 911 about 5:30 p.m. to report a barrage of gunfire at the Harbor Island Apartments, 370 E. Harmon Ave., Lt. Richard Meyers said.
Officers arrived to find two male victims who’d been shot, Meyers said. One died at the scene and the other at an undisclosed hospital.
Police encountered an “extremely dynamic” scene and were interviewing multiple witnesses, Meyers said. Additional details were not immediately available and no arrests or possible motive had been disclosed.
The victims will be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
In an unrelated incident, police were investigating a DUI suspect who drove through the perimeter, Meyers said.
