Officers arrested an armed man following an hourslong standoff this morning in an east Las Vegas neighborhood, according to Metro Police.
The incident, which began as a domestic disturbance, was reported about 7:40 a.m. in the 3900 block of Bolles Harbor Street, near Wyoming Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, police said.
Police said they encountered a gunman inside a house, prompting a Metro SWAT team to respond and other officers to evacuate the area.
Police announced an arrest about 11:30 a.m. but did not offer additional details.
