North Las Vegas Fire Department officials said workers pulled a 5-year-old girl from a flaming apartment building on Saturday then revived her.

Fire department officials said the girl was not breathing when she was initially taken out of the burning building. But she was later revived.

She was taken to the hospital and was said to have been in serious condition as of Saturday.

One other child and an adult were also taken to the hospital.

The apartment building sustained heavy smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire was unknown as of Saturday, KSNV-TV reported.
