Impairment suspected in wrong-way Las Vegas crash

Two people were killed this morning in a wrong-way crash on U.S. 95 near the Rancho Road exit in central Las Vegas, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The patrol said investigators suspect impairment but didn’t provide additional information.

The crash, which involved at least one pickup truck, was reported about 8:10 a.m., patrol logs show.

Motorists were told to expect “major delays” as northbound 95 was shut down at Interstate 15.
