The Faith Lutheran football team started slow in the first half tonight against visiting Reed of Northern Nevada, but the second half was a different story as the Crusaders scored 31 unanswered points to close the game in a 37-13 win.
The Faith Lutheran defense didn’t surrender any points in the final three quarters, as Tico Pringle had an interception return for a touchdown and Matai Tagoai also recorded an interception.
Offensively, Rylan Walter passed for three touchdowns. Peyton Steigerwald had six receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown, and Mason Aday had six catches for 43 yards and a touchdown.
Sophomore Cale Breslin was the leading rusher with 118 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.
